Write to me at [email protected]. Corrections, questions about the castle or the town, and operator enquiries are all welcome. I read everything and reply to most of it.
Things I can help with
Corrections above all. If the castle’s opening structure changes, the Bergbahn closes for maintenance, or an operator alters an itinerary reviewed in the reviews, I want to know so the page can be fixed quickly. Seasonal details shift most often — the Pharmacy Museum’s hours change between winter and the rest of the year, and the interior-tour schedule varies by season.
Planning questions are fine too, though most are already answered at more length than an email allows: how much time to plan and one day in Heidelberg between them cover the great majority of what people write in about.
Things I cannot help with
I am not a tour operator and I do not sell tickets, so I cannot change, cancel or look up a booking. Bookings made through this site happen on GetYourGuide, and their customer service is reachable through your confirmation email. I also cannot tell you what a tour costs on your date — that number lives in the booking panel and nowhere else, for the reasons on the about page. And I do not set the castle’s opening hours or run the interior tours; that is Staatliche Schlösser und Gärten Baden-Württemberg.
Operators and press
If you run one of the tours written about here and something is inaccurate, send the correction and the evidence and it will be changed. I do not take payment for placement, and no operator has any say over the review order. How the site earns is in the affiliate disclosure.
Where I am
This site is written from the Heidelberg Altstadt, a few minutes’ walk from the Kornmarkt where the Bergbahn starts. If you want to see where that is: Heidelberg, Germany on Google Maps.

Frequently asked questions
How do I change or cancel my booking?
Through GetYourGuide, using the confirmation email they sent you — not through me. Most tours on the all-tours page allow free cancellation up to 24 hours before; the HeidelbergCard is the exception, as its review explains.
Can you tell me what a tour will cost on my dates?
No, and no page here prints a figure. Open the booking panel on the tour’s review page and GetYourGuide shows the live price for the date and group size you pick.
I found something out of date. Will you fix it?
Yes. Email [email protected] with what has changed and where you saw it. Opening structures and tour itineraries shift, and pages get edited as soon as something is confirmed wrong.
